And when they decide to do something extra special out of the custom shop, they apply all their design aesthetic, all the options in their massive wood library, and that same level of care to produce truly remarkable results. 

This Used (and we use this term EXTREMELY loosely) C14ce is a prime example of the Taylor custom shop unleashed and allowed to truly go nuts. Mastergrade Koa, Sinker Redwood, Cocobolo Armrest and Binding, Ebony Bridge & Fingerboard, Stained Bone Bridge Pins with Australian Opal Dots, some of the most exquisite mother of pear/pink abalone you’ll find anywhere, and lots more make this a once-in-a-lifetime piece. 

Koa is known for its bright quality and this guitar delivers that as you’d expect; but when you add the Sinker Redwood Top, known for its warm, comforting smooth tone, you’ll get a result that checks off tons of tonal boxes. This guitar sings as is, but we find ourselves really wishing we could be there to hear it once it truly opens up.
