A lightweight resonant Jaco artist series Jazz bass based on his 1962 "bass of doom". Like the one Jaco used, it is fretless, allowing for that unique singing sustain and fluidity that a fretted instrument can't replicate.
Condition: We'd rate it in "good" shape. It has had the neck plate replaced with a Jaco art neck plate. The bass has plenty of deep scratches in the finish on the back and general dings / scratches scattered around. The fretboard has some wear from string wingdings like you'd typically see on a fretless not utilizing flatwounds. The pickups have some corrosion too. Everything functions like it should though and the bass plays great!
