BilT Brothers Ultra Light Eggplant Sparkleburst w/Caroline Cannonball and G&G Custom Case

What happens when an obsessed guitar store owner is alone with his thoughts and wonders why no guitar companies ever do collabs? Great things, apparently! 

The BilT Brothers concept started as an idea we had here to try and foster collaboration between guitar companies (much like we see from pedal companies). Two of our favorite partners, BilT and Frank Brothers, share such a mutual love and respect for each other and their works, that we knew we this idea was worth a conversation (many conversations). Not only do they both have their own style and vibes, but both have insane attention to detail as well as off-the-charts build quality. At the end of the day, it answers a simple question: 

-What would happen if we spec'd out a Frank Brothers Guitar and BilT did the fit/finish along with their signature effects treatment? 

This is the answer. 

The BilT Brothers Guitar is a Frank Brother’s Ultra Light Guitar that Bilt has applied their world class fit, finish, and effects treatment on. The Arcade Ultra Light is Frank Brother’s most deluxe model with Deeper Body and Spruce Center Block Guitar that has tons of projection and resonance. It also features a bound top and back. For the finish, we asked BilT to apply one of our personal favorites and one that shows off their unrivaled skill, Eggplant Sparkle burst. It’s a Big Flake, Nitro Burst finish that really has to be seen in person to be truly appreciated. It also includes a beautiful custom made BilT Brothers Badge on the matching headstock. We went with Arcane Lower Output 3x3 Gold Foil Humbuckers which have tons of PAF Heft and Syrupiness, but with a little more single-coil-like clarity and chime. They sound phenomenal clean, tight and airy dirty, and pair great with the on-board effect we’ve chosen for this model. For that, we contacted our friend Philippe at Caroline and asked him to dust off one of our favorites of his; the Custom Cannonball. Not only is the cannonball one of our all time favorite dirt circuits, but this one on-board the guitar offers the havoc mode both in momentary mode, and a latched mode for some truly unique options. It also comes complete with matching footswitch.
