Frank Brothers Sonar w/EGC Aluminum Neck Charcoal Frost Lightly Relic'd w/HSC
Whoooo Wheeeee....The FIRST EVER FRANK BROTHERS with an Aluminum Neck!
When we heard about the new Bolt-On models from our friends at Frank Brothers, before we even thought to ask about what they would be like, I think we asked "can we do one with an aluminum neck?!". It wasn't until we received 3 necks from Electrical Guitar Company that this idea could be a possible reality. If you don't recall, one went to BilT, one went to Dunable, and this third went to Frank Brothers. They were in...but man....This was a PROJECT! At this point and all that time later, and all the work that had to go into making this a reality for us, we really owe them some coffee (at least). It came out AMAZING. Aestheically, we went with one of our favorite combos; Charcoal Frost and Tort. Sonically, the addition of a Mastery Bridge & Vibrato and the Righteous Sound 1991 Gazing Pickup Set are the PERFECT compliments to the aluminum neck. And despite the light weight ash body and the aluminum neck, the guitar is well-balanced with a strap. It's also one of the lightest-weight aluminum neck guitars we've ever laid our hands on. Special, loaded, inspired, it's all these things and more. It's a piece of history.
