Used 1979 Gibson Les Paul "The Paul" w/OHSC
An original 1979 Les Paul "The paul". Everything on this example is original upon inspection. Down to the vintage Grover tuners & original T-top pickups! This is one of the earlier iterations before the fire branded logo came along. It's certainly a unique take on the typical Les Paul design with the extra comfort carves & walnut body. It strips certain aspects down to make it a really playable instrument. This guitar truly shows it is a good one though. It has wear & tear cosmetically, most notable in the picking region. Fortunately no headstock cracks/damage. The hardware has some pitting. The back has buckle rash & other dings. Still for what was intended as an affordable model this has some great aspects to it. Features like the ebony fingerboard, pickups, & comfort carves that make it a tad more comfy for those who don't necessarily enjoy the feel of a standard Les Paul. It's a really high quality players grade vintage guitar at a great price!
