Used Gibson SG Standard 1974 Olive Green Metallic Refinish w/OHSC

A great 1974 SG that has a gorgeous olive green metallic refinish and previously belonged to our bud Brian Baker. This is one of the neatest years for 70s SGs because the standards came with an Ebony fretboard and small block inlays. The pickups are the original Super Humbuckers commonly referred to as Tar Backs. They were designed by Bill Lawrence which was the first ceramic redesign of the PAF.

Condition: "Good". This guitar has been refinished so it's in quite good shape cosmetically. The re-fin has filled in the serial and made in US stamp but it still shows some witness lines. In the pickup cavities you can see the original walnut finish. The hardware has some wear and pitting from over the years. The plastics also show their age. The pots appear to be swapped for CTS with bumblebee caps. The truss rod functions, though has some exposed threads. The frets are low and show some wear. They're still playable in their current state.
