Used Gretsch Chet Atkins Country Gentleman 1967 Natural w/OHSC
Condition: "Good". Vintage Gretsch guitars always require work. Anyone familiar with them / interested in them is aware of the binding rot problem these experience. This one has had some work which is listed below. Outside of this, it shows its age for sure. There are dings, scratches, wear and tear, etc...
Condition notes
- The binding on this example appears original meaning it most likely lived most of its life out of the case. That being said some of it is still very delicate, cracking, or has been glued down in certain areas by a previous tech
- The frets are quite heavily worn, same goes for the fretboard.
- Original bridge / base have been replaced, the original is included.
- Original nut behind zero fret has been replaced.
- Due to binding off-gassing, the gold Hardware is heavily aged.
- Mute doesnt work great and more than likely never did.
