Used Danelectro DM-25 Piggyback Tube Head and Cab 1960s
What a cool piece of New Jersey history! This Danelectro DM-25 piggy back head and Cab were made nearby in Neptune, NJ in the mid 60s before Danelectros closure later in the decade. Now it isn't the loudest 25 watt tube Amplifier setup but WOW! This thing has a ton of tonal mojo and one of the most unique and washy spring reverbs we've heard. It's a dual channel amp with one being a basic set of controls and the other having vibrato (tremolo) and reverb capabilities. For those unaware, this is a piggy back design as mentioned previously meaning the amp head fits perfectly into a little spot located on the back of the cabinet. It then gets "locked" into place with a small plastic paddle.
Conditon: "Good". It is definitely a vintage amp that shows its age. The fabric outer material has some discoloration, tears, marks, etc... Everything functions as expected but the pots can be a bit scratchy. This amp still has the 2-prong plug so it'd probably be best to upgrade to a 3-prong plug if you plan to record with it or use it regularly. The original Footswitch is missing
