Mr. Black Analog Chorus/Vibrato Original Limited Edition

I'll keep this brief...

Sometimes all it takes is a conversation to make something happen. Our relationships with our vendors are everything to us. We love talking about everything, but invariably it always comes back to gear. When Jack DeVille and I took a stroll down memory lane about certain pedals of the past and discontinued items, it didn't take me long to bring up one of my all time favorite (and honestly, rare) pedals of his, and that is the original Mr. Black Analog Chorus Vibrato. When he told me he was working on it and developing it I was hyped because I knew Jack would do things the right way, compromise nowhere, and use only the best of the best available components.

Look, there are plenty of cool choruses out there that have tons of fun bells and whistles (I own and love them), but you don't see too many purely BBD/Analog Choruses who's focus is simply "Be the Absolute Best-Sounding, Syrupy, Lush Chorus Ever Made". We can debate reasons why this is, but I believe that there are several factors involved and it would negate my promise to "keep this brief" if I start yammering about that. The original came out in 2020 and I was one of the lucky ones to get one of the 5 he came out with originally...and I was blown away. It was the Chorus sound I always heard in my head. Pure, Analog gooeyness with fidelity that would make even the most discerning person hug the person nearest to them. Jack made a few more, they sold out, then he produced his absolute Caddy; the Deluxe version with lots of nice extras including tap. But truth be told, the original (which I still have and use) has always had a special place in my (and apparently Reseller's) heart.

So what I am saying here? I am saying now is your chance. After talking with Jack about this brilliant pedal, he rustled up enough components for 52 of them and we are lucky enough to grab 10 of them. And although the component prices have skyrocketed since 2020, he has kept the original price of $300 (which is a freaking bargain for how great this sounds).

Three Simple Controls:
-Wet/Dry Mix
-Width
-Speed

A Note About Components:
-Featuring a Bi-Color LED that pulses in time with the LFO
-11 Segment Indexes for the controls
-Glow-in-the-Dark indicators on the knobs
-Premium/Genuine Hammond Enclosures

This pedal is absolutely brilliant. If you like using Fuzz/Distortion with Chorus, it does that (and the shoegaze thing) better than any other I've heard. If you like the 80's vibe...incredible. If you like a tad bit of warble...perfect. It's equally at home in the front of an amp, or thru your effects loop. It takes line level wonderfully. It's got the clarity of a rack-mounted Chorus, but the comforting/slight hum of the Bucket Brigade Chips (which he has gone through great lengths to use clever techniques to filter this hum/noise to greatly reduce it. It's exactly as it was in 2020 and now you don't have to pay the reseller's price to snag one.

Don't sleep on this one!
