Used Holy Island x Devi Ever Rorschach Filter / Fuzz Alcohol Multi-color w/box

RORSCHACH is a homage to the classic joystick controlled noise makers of Devi Ever past. RORSCHACH gives you two independent circuits, first the chaotic fuzz of the Devi Ever Test Pattern followed by a multimode synth style filter with multiple outputs. The unpredictable and aggressive nature of the Test Pattern pairs perfectly with the filter providing the user a wide variety of complex waveforms to sculpt. The dual outputs of the filter can be used for dramatic filter sweeps between two different amps. RORSCHACH will even self oscillate and transform into an instrument in and of itself, this can be achieved with certain settings on the fuzz section. RORSCHACH can function as a standalone noise synthesiser by patching the input of the pedal directly into one of the outputs creating a forced feedback loop, the noise making capabilities can be further expanded by patching additional pedals into the loop. The Filter can also be controlled by an external expression or control voltage pedal for hands free operation!

CONTROLS

FUZZ SIDE

I-V Switches
Working by chopping various components from the circuit to create instability these switches will provide various flavours of chaos, noise and droning to the fuzz tone.

Texture
Adjusts the gain and timbre of the fuzz. Interacts heavily with both the switches and starve control.

Starve
The voltage supplied to the fuzz circuit can be modified by moving the joystick up and down. Doing so will allow the user to sweep between gated and more open tones as well as tame drones depending on the other settings.

Volume
Tames the output volume of the fuzz section.

FILTER SIDE

Hi / Lo Switch
Engages a gain section before the filter to add volume and grit.

LpHp / NpBp Switch
Switches the filter outputs from low-pass & high-pass to notch-pass & band-pass. When set to lphp the left output is low-pass and right is high-pass, and in the other position left is notch-pass and right is bandpass.

Resonance
When the resonance control is increased the output of the filter is fed back to the input to create a more pronounced peak at the cut-off frequency for a more pronounced coloration.

Frequency
Moving the joystick from left to right sweeps the cut off frequency of the filter from low to high, this can also be controlled externally using an expression pedal. When a jack is inserted into the expression socket the joystick is removed from the filter circuit allowing the frequency to be adjusted independently from the fuzzes starve control

CV
3.5mm / 1/8” input socket for control voltage to control the filters frequency in addition to the joystick or expression control.

The pedal has been tested and functions like it should. Included is the original box.
