Alone...
Is there any effect as regularly misunderstood as the humble Flanger? Some shy away, seeing it as overcomplicated. Others dismiss it as a one-trick pony (whale noises, anyone?) - maybe two note (Jet sounds, after all). Few realize that countless classics are Flanger-soaked: from The Police to The Cure (not to mention Prince) many a legendary artist knew how useful a splash of flange could be.
Alec over at MAE did an amazing job with this release, simplifying a Flanger down to an easier to control format that still has a ton of exploratory sounds.
