Used Roland Space Echo RE-201 Delay / Reverb Unit
The Roland RE-201 has gained status as a legendarily tape delay unit that started being manufactured in the mid 70s' and stayed in production till 1990. They're a tad difficult to date as the serials don't necessarily link them to specific years. Based on some decoder sites it was produced sometime between the late 1970s' & early 80s'.
The RE-201 sounds amazing for those who haven't had the chance to try one. It's warm & "real" sounding. When compared to most delay pedals it's truly night & day in regards to the difference. (With some exceptions!) Overall it's a wonderful piece of gear to have around in the studio or live setting.
