Mask Audio Electronics Clubber Lang Percolator
One of our all-time favorite Pedals, now finding a new home under the warm embrace of Mask Audio Electronics!
The interfax harmonic percolator. A circuit many have rediscovered & fallen in love with, including us here at Relic Music. Clubber Lang is a “love letter” to the original. This in our opinion is one of the more unique takes on the original percolator as it can become more modern sounding due to the unique way the MOSFET pushes the perc. The pedal features controls for “burn” & “harmonic” which are the gain stages for the fuzz & MOSFET. The tone control adds tons of versatility. Inside is an internal control known solely as “WHUD”, which determines how tamed the pedal is or how wild it can possibly go. The perc is known for it’s way of accentuating even order harmonics that truly make it a unique piece of gear.
From MAE:
We are happy to partner with fellow Midwest dirt farmer Zac at Malaise Forever Customs to bring Clubber Lang to the Mask Audio Electronics lineup. Clubber Lang is a love letter to the harmonic percolator but adds some improvements for the modern player. Adding a MOSFET input stage to push some wild texture out of the circuit, as well as asymmetrical soft clipping, increased low end output, and a widely effective tone control. There is a lot of interactivity between all of the knobs on the pedal and all of the knobs on your instrument. Clubber Lang rewards the detailed tweakers and pedal stackers.
CONTROLS:
BURN: MOSFET stage gain control (crackles when turned)
MORE: Fuzz stage gain control
TONE: Bass cut (counter-clockwise for more low end, clockwise for less)
LOUD: Controls output volume
Clubber Lang Should be powered by a 9V center negative power adapter
