This, like so many for our projects that we do, started as an idea and a conversation has turned into a reality. When our guy Tye from Shock the Fox called and said "you have all these exclusive pedals, why not do exclusive pickups?" it rang a huge bell. Then as if he was reading our minds, suggested Righteous Sound. The 1991 Gazing set is one of our all-time favorite pickup sets and it was the absolute perfect set to choose for our first exclusive pickup run.  After some conversation, we decided that 5 for sale, and 5 to use in builds was absolutely the move. These have ancient cypress inserts and they look almost as good as they sound.

 The neck pickup is modeled after a vintage Jazzmaster pickup. The thinner coil produces a distinct sound. The high frequencies are prominent and clear.  The lows add warmth to round out the overall tone.

 The bridge pickup is a unique design that is a culmination of years of experimenting and refining. Asymmetrical coils wound with unconventional wire gauges and a custom spec'd Alnico magnet result in a humbucker that is unlike anything available on the market today. It is creamy, crystalline, and harmonically rich. The highs are reminiscent of a single coil. The midrange sits between a PAF and Tele bridge. The low frequencies are tight and similar to a Filtertron and Goldfoil.
