Used Epiphone Casino 1995 MIK Peerless Made - Natural w/ HSC

This is a players grade 1995 Korean made Casino from the well known Peerless factory. This one certaintly has some wear and quirks but it has a beautiful birdseye top and still plays excellent. This one came from a Lennon fan so it has been changed around to be more akin to his old Casino.

  • Maple laminate body
  • Mahogany neck
  • Rosewood fingerboard
  • Neck joins body at 17th fret
  • Slim neck "C"
  • 24.75" scale length
  • 2 P-90 pickups (Sam Sun Gakki)
  • 2 volumes, 2 tones, 3 way pickup selector
  • Original tuners swapped for Grovers (previous holes visible)
  • The guitar weighs 6 lbs 1.5 oz
  • Includes a hardcase that is well beat up and marked with tape
This guitar is in "fair" to "good" condition, which is reflected in the price as these Peerless made Casinos tend to go for a good chunk more. The guitar has had the tuners swapped and is missing the pickguard. We have a feeling at some point the finish on top was sanded down to a satin as the rest of the guitar is glossy. There is a finish crack that follows along the joint by the heel but is strictly cosmetic. There is a poker chip added around the 3 way toggle. One knob is switched to match Lennons. The bridge post of the treble side seems to be replaced and doesnt fit properly so both sides have extra thumbscrews for support. Lastly is there is some adhesive on the left side due to some setlists being taped to the guitar.

The guitar has been tested and functions like it should. It is a consignment piece here in the shop meaning all sales final.
