Used Fender Telecaster 1975 Natural/Blonde w/OHSC

This is a great example of a 1970s era Fender Telecaster. This particular example dates to 1975 based on the pot codes and neck plate stamp. From cross referencing different sources all the parts appear to be original except the 1 ply black pickguard, which most likely originally would've been a W/B/W 3-ply guard.

It has spank and twang for days! The Swamp Ash looks really beautiful and is on the lighter end weight wise when compared to many Fenders of this era. Overall it's a really great player that has an excellent feel and sound. The frets are still in great shape and it offers everything you'd want from the classic workhorse guitar.

This year was right before they transitioned to the 3 bolt neck and was made alongside the Tele Customs & Deluxes.

  • Swamp Ash 3 piece body
  • 1 piece maple neck / fretboard
  • "C" shape neck profile
  • 25.5" scale length
  • 7.25" radius
  • 21 nickel-silver frets
  • 4 bolt neck plate
  • Schaller "F" branded tuners
  • Original Telecaster pickup set
  • 1 volume, 1 tone, 3 way pickup selector
  • CTS pots
  • Original 3 steel saddle bridge (Missing bridge cover)
  • The guitar weighs 8 lbs 11 oz
  • Included is the original hardshell case

The guitar has been tested and checked over and functions like it should. The truss rod turns though we'd like to note is pretty tight with the guitar being strung up with 11's currently. There are dings and scratches, the most notable finish damage is around the sides of the head stock most likely from a bad guitar hanger at some point. Still it's in quite great shape especially considering its age. It has light play wear on the body. It is a consignment piece here in the shop meaning all sales are final.
