Used Hudson Electronics Broadcaster Class A Germanium Pre-Amplifier

The Hudson Broadcast is a very highly regarded pre-amp designed to emulate 1960s broadcast consoles. It can vary between clean shimmer boosts all the way to transparent natural drive.  To drive the pre-amp, the broadcast saturates a transformer that leads to a lightly compressed driven tone that is unparalleled. As you switch it to the higher gain setting you can get into distortion territory that still can appeal to a number of different players.
