This is a Kramer Forum IV bass from the late 1980s Based on the Neptune NJ neck plate. It plays great with a slim neck profile to fly around on and the EMG pickups have some kick. From research, these were made by ESP Japan for Kramer USA.
Mods: floyd rose string retainer behind nut, heavy duty battery clip installed, nut replaced
Condition: The instrument functions like it should. It has plenty of dings & scratches. We'd consider it in "fair" condition. The bass plays good, can get a tad buzzy on certain frets though due to a slight twist in the neck though the truss rod has plenty of adjustment still. The screws certainly have rust / patina and the ones for the pickups are starting to be ever so slightly stripped out.
